Kookoo's Nest

 Kookoo’s Nest

Kookoo's Nest is an eco-lodge with restaurant, beach, and more.

Situated in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental

You can stay overnight at their beach side bamboo-made and family size rooms/bungalow with lounge area facing the sea and with lavatory and bathroom.

They also offers food and drinks, and you can also eat in their small restaurant.

We tried their Kayak. Paddling all over the area with clear sea.

From Dumaguete (The City of Gentle People) make a ride going to South. 56 mins. drive from Dumaguete City. You are going to pass by 3 towns or cities, Bacong, Dauin, and Zamboanguita. At a certain point of Zamboanguita turn left as you see the Way to Antulang signage road. While travelling, you can enjoy the view. Just follow the signage of every turning point.

When at night, the road don’t have street lights so, expect the dark travel hehehe.

Because of the pandemic. Minimum health protocol is a must, wear facemask and face shield.

Since they offers food, they did not allow visitors to bring foods.

This place is perfect to unwind so, don’t make any noise like loud music.

Better to book first before going in Kookoo’s Nest.

The main entrance is on the top of the cliff so you need to go down by stairs with few steps under the woods. Much difficult to those who have problem in walking.

The beach is white sand and clear water. You can also enjoy Kayaking. They have floating port which is made of bamboos, you can enjoy taking pictures with Instagrammable view.

Signal is fine. They have Free WiFi.

Foods are fine. We tried their pizza which is made of fresh ingredients like fresh tomatoes and fresh pineapple.

Staying until afternoon with good weather, you can see the picturesque sunset.
